YES....as of Jan. 1 ,2012 I will be an B&B Innkeeper only. After nine (9) years full time work and
morning and evening B&B work, I might sleep in till 6 am !

October 29,2011 We have SNOW on the ground. Covers the grass but not under the tress.
It is very lovely and the roads are clear. It's sooo peaceful looking.

Weather service says our peak for leaf color is almost mid October to almost early November.
It comes when it wants to, no bets from me. I see it is getting ready for color on some trees now.
Come on out to the Shenandoah Valley and explore our beautiful scenery.

Remember our "Guest Room" at $90.00 per night, 400 sq.ft, 1st floor entrance w/ small deck,
King wood canapy bed, Chinese & American antique furnishings (family pieces) , small bath w/shower, refreshment center, dining table chairs, love sofa & leather high back chairs. Living room/dining at entrance, bedroom/bath beyond. Consist of 2 rooms & bath but only 1 bedroom for 2 only. No children, No dogs, but a great deal @ $90.00 a night.

Still doing B&B improvements....workers are putting a new rubber roof on the 2 story front porch....... Russell ( our B&B dog) had an operation to remove a growth, he's fine now. He is 13 yrs old and thats "old" for a standard poodle.......Got a snow blower so no messy driveway this year, if it snows ?......NEW SPECIAL, stay 3 days and save, see on the B&B site at.............

The new barn (14'X36'=2 story) is in the side yard. Was set up Tues and they finished at
10pm, a long HOT day. Electric wireing will come soon and landscaping, also pictures !

Art in the Park

Art in the Park at Gypsy Hill Park, Staunton,Va. Large selection of art, music, food and children activities. Hours 10am--5pm sat. May 29 and noon-5pm sun. May 30. This is a tradional yearly art event that attracts a talented selection of mid-atlantic artist. Local (Bridgewater) artist kevin Lam will have a display also. www.k-w-lam.com

Spring fixin up time

Front porch is painted , window , door trim, deck rails all painted. Now the yard trees (pin oak, elm, dogwood, etc) all
get trimmed Tues.Two trees will be cut down. Can't have tree limbs falling on guest or their cars.

Bridgewater Town Lawn Party is in full swing. Thurs. Fri, Sat. Took my grandsons we all
had a great time. Carrousel, Carnival, Bingo, Bands, Food, Fun, Games, Goodies, Parade,
People, Rides, Rollercoaster. What a time ,you better come next year !

Flowers are every where, grass is gorgious, baby birds droping out of there nest and mother
bird warning every one to stay away as she scurries around for more worms. Town Yard

Busy here in Bridgewater Va. with couples visiting our town for Xmas and New Years.
Cross Keys Vineyards is 4 miles away and a great new attraction, along with Barren
Ridge Vineyards about 12 miles south. Massanutten Resort ski season is apon us with
guest staying in Bridgewater also. College kids are home for the holidays so it is very easy
to zip around town here. Got a nice new restaurant in Bridgewater "Francissco's" and
priced reasonably within a families budget. It is located at Main St (rt.42) and College St.
